Dr. Xiao has accumulated extensive experience in strategic consulting, new energy development, and green finance.

Dr. Xiao began his career as a Senior Analyst at Accenture, where he published over 20 papers on macroeconomics and green development. From 2017 to 2022, he served as Head of the Strategy Department at Logan Group Co., Ltd., where he led the formulation and execution of the group's sustainable development strategy. In this role, he integrated green building initiatives with green finance mechanisms in the real estate sector and supervised the preparation and implementation of the company's ESG reports.

Between 2023 and 2025, Dr. Xiao held the positions of Director of Yonker Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Yonker New Energy Company. Under his leadership, the company successfully signed over 200 MW of distributed photovoltaic power generation and energy storage projects across Guangdong, Hebei, Hunan, and the Qingshan Industrial Park in Indonesia. He also initiated the development of a Smart Microgrid Demonstration Project in Hangzhou, gaining comprehensive expertise in the investment, financing, construction, and operational management of new energy projects.

Dr. Xiao obtained  a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2003 and a Ph.D. in Economics from Hunan University in 2012.
